The ability to modify your own posts expires after a certain amount of time but don’t ask me how long that amount of time is as I don’t know.

It looks like the limit is somewhere between one and two weeks. The "Quick Edit" option disappears along with the "Modify" option under "More".

I just added a photo to a 12-year-old posting, there doesn't appear to be a hard limit on changes.

The rules are different for moderators. :-) I can't modify my older posts either, now that I'm just a member.

Good to know and thanks for the information.
I have very limited privileges as a moderator, guess this is one of them.

The instructions give the following restrictions:
"Restrictions: 20 per post, maximum total size 98,304 KB, maximum individual size 49,152 KB"
Are those really the sizes? They're both surprisingly precise, and surprisingly large. "49,152 KB" is nearly 50 megabytes.
I just successfully posted with an image of about 713 kilobytes. So I'm guessing it really does mean "KB" and not "bytes", which was my first suspicion.
Just checking to make sure I'm not misunderstanding something.

Without going into the details, just go ahead and post what you wish and see if it flies. Generally most photos show up just fine.
