Title: How is overhead mattress attached?
Post by: Linda B on June 23, 2020, 08:19:54 pm
Planning and thinking.....
Is the overhead mattress fabric cover connected to the wood base completely or is there a lip where a fitted sheet could fit under it?

And while I'm at it, are the sofa cushions separate or are they all attached together, bottom attached to back, etc.?

I can't speak to the mattress as we have a 31 TB but the couch back cushion is separate from the bottom cushion....the back has Velcro on it to attach to the wood backing of the sofa

The overhead mattress is not connected.   It's easy fit sheets under it.   It is also a great storage place for flat things like cutting boards, laptops, and steps that fold flat.

Keep in mind you will most likely need a piece of foam on the mattress unless you prefer a VERY firm sleep surface.   Picking the right foam type and thickness can be tricky depending on how fussy you are about such things.   If possible buy from a store that will accept a return/exchange.     Frank
