Well, I guess I'm still daydreaming...
After lurking around here for a while, and combing the internet for tidbits and pictures, I was excited to hear about Morro Bay and thought I would make it down there to meet some of you and crawl around your rigs. But then something (good!) came up, and my accomplice and I had to be in San Diego for that weekend instead. So we flew down a day early, picked up my parents in Lake Elsinore, and drove up to Montclair to visit the factory! I'd been debating getting myself on the waitlist, but in the moment and with my folks as a bad influence, I went for it. The estimate I was given at the time was eighteen months, which puts us somewhere around my birthday next year. Is officially waiting actually harder than just thinking about a vague someday!?
We got to check out a green Mid-Bath, with grey upholstery (that I remembered to take a few pictures of) and a Grey Twin King. And of course the dreamy classic Dodge in the back corner!
Congrats, anticipation is half the fun!
That pic of the mothership is basically unchanged since the time it was shot in only black and white. ;)
Joel, It is a recent photo, not only because of the color, but there are also no Pleistocene animals in the recent photo.
Inside seemed unchanged from ancient times as well. But the rigs in the "showroom" were perfect!
"...no Pleistocene animals in the recent photo."
If you want to see them look no farther than the La Brea Tar Pits! ;)
Thanks for the current backlog at the Mothership, at least as of two weeks ago, sounds like I need to put myself on the waiting list this November.
Wonder how much the shelter in place directive will effect the wait time, beyond the obvious.
**UPDATE** One years and two days after visiting the Mothership and getting on The List, Todd called me!!! However, his question was if I was interested in purchasing the 2021 floor model MidBath because they are getting ready to build a 2022 floor model. Because {reasons}, I decided to wait until it is really my turn to order one that is all my own. Which means the next lucky person on the list gets a chance at a new Lazy Daze, delivery to be taken before the end of this month! :)
**EDIT** - Yikes, sorry!!! My head is still spinning. It's only been *one* year since I got on the list. March 6, 2020!

Did Todd give you an order date and/or an estimated delivery date?

Nothing specific. I said something along the lines of thinking it would be at least another six months before I heard from him, and he agreed with that sentiment. My mind was spinning trying to figure out if I could add a 27-foot baby to my world within the next three weeks and in hindsight I wish I had asked him so many more questions!
Thanks for the update, since I joined the list 4 months later (July 2020), I should hear something early next year.
Officially waiting on a TK, though I occasionally have weak moments for a MB.
We took possession of our 2021 MB yesterday which is exactly two years to the week from when we went on the list. Mariposa left the cocoon of the mother ship and made it all the way to Bonelli Bluffs where everybody is resting up and preparing for the northward migration. Long wait but worth it. I have tried to add a photo, hope shows.

Thanks. Looks like wait time could be approaching 2 ½ years.

I sometimes wonder if I want a TK instead of an MB! ;)

That's what I'm thinking as well, and it really works out for my Master Plan, so I can be patient. I hope someone who is ready to hit the road tomorrow gets that floor model. I would only be able to use it very rarely at this point.
Congrats and safe travels 🚐
Congrats, looks great!
Beautiful, enjoy your rig and may all your travels be safe.
