Title: 2013 front diinette 24 foot
Post by: colvin_george on March 25, 2019, 05:39:06 pm
See attached photos.

Has anyone experienced cracks on the rear corners --- both sides ?  Even though the plastic corners look impressive, plastic apparently becomes brittle with age.

Repair suggestions welcome.

George,

Blueox25/Harold mentioned Captain Tolley’s Creeping Crack Cure a while back. When our ‘15 RB’s right End Cap developed a crack I picked up a tube on Amazon. Since our crack was beyond Capt. Tolley’s Recommended usage parameters, I opted for a full end cap replacement at the Mothership.

The photo you attached looks as if the product may be applicable in your situation. Others here may offer other suggestions, however, as Harold is a boat owner and has years of experience with such matters, Capt. Tulley’s may serve you well.

Before the crack increases in width, you may want to give it a try. Here is a pick of our end cap crack from last May before and after replacement.

Good luck,

Kent
