We're hopeful that someone has found a replacement for the remote control for the Jensen JE1909 TV. I called the company that is listed on the manual and the original remote has been discontinued. All the functions on the suggested replacement (PXXRCASA) may not work according to the customer service at Jensen RV Direct - Shop Premium Audio & Video RV Electronics (http://www.jensenrvdirect.com). Thanks in advance for help.
Ed,
Here’s a thought. If someone has the same remote in question and is willing to program a “Learning Remote” and then hand it over to you, your problem is solved.
Here are just a couple of learning remotes available on Amazon. I checked my Jensen Remote for a number but found none. Here’s a pic of mine as well.
Good luck.
Kent
Ed, you might want to contact Crutchfield; they are electronics experts!

I've spend more time on this TV remote search than any normal person. So I called CS at Jensen RV Direct - Shop Premium Audio & Video RV Electronics (http://www.jensenrvdirect.com) and asked a few more questions about the suggested replacement for our Jensen JE1909 TV. CS thought that PXXRCASA should more or less work. So I decided to give it a go and placed the order with the CS rep. She took my name and shipping address and said we should receive it in 3-5 business days and thanked me for calling them. I politely asked if she wanted our credit card information thinking she must have overlooked that step. She said there will be no charge! I was shocked and I told her I was shocked and that I'd like to give her a cyber hug. She said she felt it!
So within a few days, I'll follow-up with feedback about the replacement remote. And of course, I certainly can give a positive recommendation for jensenrvdirect.com.
P.S. It's been a long time since I've been shocked like I described above.
We received our no-charge Jensen (PXXRCASA) remote today from JensenRvDirect.com and so we made an unscheduled trip to our LD to test it. In a few words, it worked perfectly and the various buttons were more responsive than the original. We're very pleased how all this turned out. I'm going to "mess" with the original to see if I can make it work a bit better and keep it as a backup. Btw, it looks like the second picture in Kent's post up above.
That's it from this part of the LD World!
For what it's worth, I've had good luck finding remotes for obsolete equipment on eBay. A search (https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=Jensen+JE1909+remote&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=Jensen+JE1909+ermote) just now turned up a number of Jensen remotes similar to yours. It's great that you got a new one for free, but for others who may not be as lucky, it's worth checking eBay.
