Title: 1992 LD hitch install
Post by: carycary99 on January 31, 2018, 03:54:05 pm
Brand new owner of a 1992 22' LD. One thing we wanted that our LD doesn't have is a hitch. I crawled under it to see what I would need to do to install one myself and was concerned at the lack of frame structure at the back of the coach. I am certain people are putting hitches on these. Can someone explain what is needed to get a hitch on our rig, or suggest a reputable hitch place in the puget sound area?

Assuming the rear bumper is stock, it should have a 3500-4000-lb tow rating along with a hole for a 2' trailer ball.
Your owner's manual should have the details.
