Title: Time for Inspection/Lube
Post by: T&F on November 20, 2017, 12:14:13 pm
Good Morning,

Our 2014 MB is overdue for inspection/lube (11K, did not get it done at 5K as spec'd in the maintenance schedule).

We are in South Orange County.  Can anyone recommend a mechanic in OC or LA county?

Thanks so much,

Tim

Tim,

I’ve been taking my ‘15 RB to Caruso Ford in Long Beach, Ca (LA County) since we brought her home from the Mothership.

Caruso Ford
3500 Cherry Ave
Long Beach, CA 90807
(562) 627-5100

Oscar is the Truck Service Manager. They’ve aligned my front end, worked on my AC and changed my oil. Very dependable and easy to get in and out of.

Good luck.

Kent

Thank you, Kent.

Just to clarify: I've been changing the oil myself every 3K, but we were looking at an E-450 maintenance schedule and realized that we were overdue for inspection/lube, which is defined as "inspect and lubricate all non-sealed steering linkage, ball joints, suspension joints, half and drive-shafts and u-joints."

I would bet that your recommended shop would be fine for this, but I just wanted to be clear about the work I'd like to have done.
