anyone know why i might get crazy charge amp readings, like in the 900's? i'd expect this possible from the "optional net amps" being that it's possible just not connected, but i think the charge amps should be measured internal to the controller? i've been considering replacing it anyway, but wondering if there might be something obvious i'm missing. seems to be charging correctly regardless.
If the reading seems about right other than the decimal point, could be an internal connector on the board is making poor contact.

It's only one 80w, with one cracked cell, don't don't think it's 9 amps... I do know one of the lower digit legs is out on the display.
If you feel confident doing it, pull the fuse at the converter, then remove the controller. Disconnect the leads where they come in from the panels, keeping them from shorting together. Then un-plug and re-plug every connector you find on the charge controller, switch every board mounted switch and return to original position. Then reconnect the panel wires, put the fuse back in, and see if it works now.
