Title: Rust

Trying to buy my first LD. How much rust is too much rust? Thoughts on these photos? It's a 1997.

The photos don't look bad, I would be touching and prodding to see how much metal is gone. The exhaust is like mine, I look forward to upgrading mine in a couple years. More important, any bubbling of the Aluminium skin?

I have a lot of rust on my 2002 MD and bubbling on the aluminum skin.  Some of the bubbles have perforated through.  I'm going to be selling mine next year and have figured this is going to be an issue when I do.

Need more pictures.  It looks better than mine, which is not saying much.  I would check to see if any of the exhaust studs are broken.  They can be seen from inside the wheel well.  You will probably want a new steering stabilizer any way.
