That might have been me . I made several posts about DTC 019, which indicated a problem with the fuel rail sensor . I never did get to the point where I had any operating or starting issues, only that the Check Engine light would come several times a day as we were heading from MA to NM . We did not want things to get worse and have the pump quit out in the boonies of New Mexico , so we found a Ford dealer in Elk City , OK , where they diagnosed the fuel pump problem . They dropped the tank, filtered the gas (it was almost full, and they lost hardly any of it) and replaced pump module and sender . Parts were $657, labor $552 and $57 for the governor . That was the end of the problem - haven't seen the Check Engine light in the 2000 miles since then .

On a related issue someone a last fall had an issue with the engine cutting out and it turned out to be a fuel pump pickup going bad I think .
